Duluth, GA/ February 9, 2011 - ChildCare Education Institute (CCEI), a nationally accredited distance training institution dedicated exclusively to the child care industry, is proud to announce College Credit Recommendations of evaluated certificate programs awarded by the National Program on Noncollegiate Sponsored Instruction (NPNSI).
NPNSI determined eligibility for College Credit Recommendations in the baccalaureate/associate degree category for the following certificate programs: Online College Credit Eligible CDA Certificate; Online Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) Certificate (10 semester hours in Human/Child Development or Early Childhood Education); Online Instructor-Supported CDA Certificate (8 semester hours in Human/Child Development or Early Childhood Education); Online National Administrator Credential Certificate (5 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Education Administration/Leadership); and Online Director's Certificate (4 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Education Administration/Leadership).
"The receipt of NPNSI College Credit Recommendations on CCEI certificate programs advances opportunities for early childhood teachers. It allows them to articulate credit for CCEI programs into a college degree program, thus improving the qualifications of teaching staff," said Maria Taylor, President and CEO of CCEI.
